The ACF Model

In the Multi-Disciplinary Practice model for non-physicians, the addition of an MD or DO to provide Pain Management and consultations is the key for expansion upon the scope of services a practice offers to its patients.  By structuring your practice as an Ambulatory Care Facility, Licensed by the New Jersey Department of Health for Primary Care, the entity under the ownership of a non-physician (i.e. Chiropractor, Physical Therapist or business person) may employ a Physician and legally own 100% of the entity. The ACF License for Primary Care is becoming the new standard for all Multi-Disciplinary Practices in New Jersey, thus allowing non-physicians to take advantage of the benefits and security the License affords.
