Introduction
Welcome to the new standard for Multi-Disciplinary Practice models in New Jersey. While the Licensing process and required preparation can be rigorous, the long-term benefits, including enhanced operational stability, compliance assurance, and added security, make the commitment well worth the investment.

Facility Tour
During the facility tour, owners are introduced to the Ambulatory Care Facility (ACF) licensing process. This meeting typically lasts approximately one hour and is conducted in a manner that does not disrupt staff activities or compromise patient privacy.
The tour provides our team with valuable insight into the facility’s current operations and physical layout. Potential areas of non-compliance are often identified promptly, and we discuss in detail the steps necessary to achieve compliance. Providing a recent set of facility plans for our review is highly beneficial and helps streamline the evaluation process.
Assessment
Through an on-site review and evaluation of existing architectural plans (if available), we identify any areas of non-compliance that must be addressed. While some facilities may require varying degrees of renovation to meet physical plant requirements, others may only need minor adjustments, such as updated room designations or policy modifications, to achieve compliance.
Upon completion of the assessment, our team delivers clear, actionable guidance outlining the recommended next steps toward Licensure.

Legal Review
The legal component of the Licensing process is critical to ensuring a smooth and compliant path to approval. If you are not currently represented by legal counsel, our team can facilitate an introduction to our trusted healthcare attorney and Board Member, Mohamed Nabulsi, Esq.
If you already retain a healthcare attorney, we are pleased to collaborate with them to confirm that your existing corporate structure and legal framework fully support the Licensure process.
Retention of Services
Upon engagement, we work directly with you and your staff to ensure compliance with all applicable requirements set forth in N.J.A.C. Title 8, Chapter 43A, Standards for Licensure of Ambulatory Care Facilities. Given the complexity of the Licensing standards, the scope of services required varies from project to project. Some facilities require a more comprehensive level of support, depending on operational, clinical, legal, or physical plant considerations. Please contact us to schedule a consultation so we may provide a clear and tailored overview of our services and the Licensure process.
