One Room Centers
As Registered Surgical Practices transition into fully Licensed facilities, significant preparation is required to ensure regulatory compliance. Thorough preparation is essential. Compliance with the physical plant standards outlined in N.J.A.C. Title 8, Chapter 43A, along with the applicable Life Safety Code requirements, represents a critical component of this process.
One-Room Surgical Practices previously registered under the New Jersey Board of Medical Examiners are now subject to heightened oversight by the New Jersey Department of Health. As a result, many—if not most—one-room centers throughout the state require varying degrees of support to meet these expanded compliance obligations.
We encourage you to share your center’s current status with us so we can assess your readiness, identify any gaps, and assist you in developing a clear, actionable plan to prepare for a successful State Survey inspection. Our team is equipped to guide you through each step of this transition with confidence and clarity.
